It has come to my attention, with the help of a pair of drunken Spaniards, that my host brother Mauricio (18 years old) bears an uncanny likeness to the former N’SYNC teen heartthrob Justin Timberlake. If Justin had olive skin, of course. Because of this, he has acquired the nickname “Justin, AAAAAAAAA!” (in the parlance of a squealing teenybopper) which, when pronounced in Spanish, sounds more like, “Joosteen. AAAAAAAAA!” Nicknames just don’t come any better.
